Quick queation about courtesy cars

Hi guys just wondering any of you can help.

My cars goes to vw tomorrow to get a new wing and they said i can have a courtesy car which is great im just windering if i need any documents to show them? Like driving license ? Or insurance certificate?

You will need to take driving license, photocard and the paper counterpart to check any endorsements. Normally this is it :happy2:

VW never asked me for anything when I picked up a courtesy car

But I had to arrange my own insurance for the car

I had to show my license, only because I was lazy and got them to insure me on the 1.2 litre polo beast that they gave me!!

I will take my insurance certificate just in case as it says on there im insured on loan / courtesy cars if mine is in for repair / m.o.t

The rules differ from the branch owner (Western, Peter Vardy, Lookers etc) as my local Stirling branch wanted to see my license and proof that I'd added it to my existing policy, whereas the Edinburgh branch (a different dealership) didn't ask to see any documents, and didn't charge me a penny for the car  :happy2:

peter cooper portsmouth, whos body shop is in bognor Regis just photocopyed my license went for a walk around the car and then gave me the keys , was easy , now lets just hope that they do a good job on my car
