ye 235/35/19 should do it i think on that

RunRabbit:
Putting HIDs into a halogen light fitting will be illegal, the beam will scatter like hell and without washers and a way to adjust the level they'll be rather annoying to other drivers.

You can retro-fit the OEM xenons and have the rheostat wiring modified, that'd just leave washers

RE: HID's

Been looking into this. From what I've managed to dig up you can get several kits. HID's for you do a kit which is supposed to be for vehicles post 2002

http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/product.php?productid=64&cat=16&page=1

This kit stops the bulb warning lights coming on and the flickering.

You can get the cheaper kits but you need to activate these in the ecu i.e vag-com so its swings and roundabouts really.

I know a lot of people harper on about needing washer jets and auto level but as long it passes the MOT does it really matter? and if your car is new like mine you dont need to worry about an MOT  :P

It's far cheaper than installing the stock ones which look pants anyway  :fighting:

Cheers for that mate , never saw those on HIDS4u , from what i'm led to believe , washer jets and auto level are only compulsary if the vehicle is fitted with HIDs from factory , i understand that they will be best to use with projector units but around here most people just use them in the standard lights , and oem xenons are a no go as far as price is concerned

Been having a look for some new alloys and was wondering wat your thoughts are on each of these
