Exhaust tips....
« on: January 04, 2013, 09:26:19 pm »
I'm in the process of having a R32 valance fitted with GTi exhaust exit.

I can't help but think my standard exhaust tips are going to look a little lost so would really like to see some larger tailpipes on there!

I don't want to start changing the exhaust so was wondering if I could get some BCS/Miltek tailpipes welded to my current system.

Do you think this is possible?

Yes. I don't know about BCS but Milltek tails aren't cheap as I fancied some GT80 tails for my Octy but soon changed my mind when I heard the price.

How does it work with the miltek pipes?

Cut and weld?

Mine are the bolt on pipes, cars low, git a speed bump and it ripped one off, obviously didn't know and I refuse to pay the stupid price for the milltek ones, just got to a local auto fabrications place, should weld on 2 tips for less then £100!
