I prefer the black wheel but it's simply a matter of individual taste and I personally don't like any of the silver bling bits on the Mk6 Golfs.

Less reflections to dazzle the driver too.

from what I can see these 2 wheels look like the best on the market ?
wonder if the full 12 button functionality will work when put into a mk5 ?
they are very very pricey but guess I better find out the compatibility yet,,, does anyone have either of these wheels fitted to there mk5
I just glanced over a thread on the web saying you only get 5 buttons to work without xy&z cables etc so would value peoples opinions on this and also tlo the original question on colour  :happy2:

I have function in all buttons

im leaning towards the black one as somehow im thinking it looks more sleek ?
connecting it correctly should mean all 12 buttons work ?
I would have reservations tbh paying all that money and not all work, will look at the previous link though
still would like to hear if most people prefer black

Or would you prefer a pic from RR's library of hotties?
rr that wheel looks exactly the same apart from the centre badge, and I actually prefer the badge in your pic,,,, is that the only diff in the pics ?
and if so is there a specific name for this wheel apposed to the other one

....I was meaning that comment generally rather than specifically to the steering wheel. But yes, you obviously don't know why I wear prescription lensed shades most of the time - A quick sharp flash of light can dazzle me and set off double vision followed by a migraine. I just feel far more comfortable without the silver bits which so many folks associate with 'luxury'.

Despite having the silver mk6 wheel myself, I agree with RR; the silver is just a bit too sparkly!
I've wrapped most of my interior bits in carbon and trying to work out if its possible to do the same to the steering bits - I'm sure the badge bit is doable, but the button surround looks very complicated (not sure if its even removable?!?)

do you guys think the link I put up for the mk6 gti badge would simply click onto the new wheel,, it says plug and play so im  assuming you can just unclip the one that comes with the wheel ?

hey btw chrome is non reflective is it not rr  :P :P
