Auto light problem

Please forgive me if I'm being a retard. :sad1:

Over the last couple of days my auto xenon lights are constantly on. (Not when car is off) Even today when it is a nice clear bright day. Also there doesn't seem to be the little auto light switch bit isn't green any more?

I don't know if I'm being thick?  :scared:
