when Revo were revising the K04 my Ed35 was making more bhp than the Ed30 they used, my car is back in after its first service for some more witch craft related to this

Well according to TPS its the same pump, no. 06F127025K.  So it must be witchcraft as to why the Ed35 makes better figures........

It was JKM .... So the "dream wrecker " couldn't disprove it matt

Why not JKM stables lee? As that's where the said horses were last seen

ED35's and Golf R's do make more power than an ED30 after a remap. I'm still not sure why, they just do! Maybe it is one of those VW "don't tell anyone" modifications?

The pump is definitely the same as the Autotech internals still fit straight in.

Is the cylinder head the exact same John?

Yes, it is the same CDL block as the ED30.

All I know is my stage 2 ED30 made a healthy 305bhp at SRR and my stage 1 ED35 made 300bhp at JKM ??

Using the same dyno operators or the same group of different operators is always going to help to make comparisons. However, different weather on different days etc etc, always make any comparisons merely a realistic guide rather than an exact science.

What really matters is how she feels to drive and that the plotted curves are smooth and no issues are revealed.

As Robin said. Weather, atmospheric pressure and the fact that all engines are different. A newer engine will less carbon build up on the valves also
