Valuation please
« on: November 18, 2012, 07:37:03 pm »
Hey guys,

I'm looking at selling my GTI in the new year but unsure what to advertise it at.

It's a 2005/56 5 door DSG in shadow metallic blue. 56k miles

12 months tax and mot

Spec is xenons, winter pack, lighting pack, recaro leather buckets, 18" monzas, 4 new tures, new discs and pads all round, air con, folding mirrors.

I've also added R32 front brakes, Milltek cat back exhaust, American front grill, open grills

Ideally like a price for as it is and for it being taken back to standard. The wheels need refurbing.

Is a really well sorted car, looks well looked after and a lovely colour too. Tis an early car but low mileage. I'd say at least £8.5k-£9k as is. If you strip your car (including seats) of the extra bits, you should get £2k-£2.5k for those bits. In standard form, according to Parkers.......

Thanks for your help guys

The seats are spec'd from new so don't want to split them really but appreciate I could get more money back by doing it that way. Would consider a PX with front leather seats I suppose
