I have had no reply from the guy saying he has 12 buttons working, cant remember his name and I wasn't saving my outgoing messages at the time so cant find him but as no reply I can only assume that nobody out there has 12 buttons working
is this just with the mk6 wheel or can you get them all to work on the mk5 wheel ?
anyone know ?
It was Jake who said he had all the buttons working, probably not unless he can get them all working with the polar fis advanced but again i dont know if that is it!!!!
with the phone kit you have scott even with the mk5 multi function wheel you wouldn't get the phone button to work so to be honest both wheels will not work all buttons but in my honest opinion the mk6 wheel is way better!!!

scott :happy2:

Kind of strange the phone button won't work on a mk 5 MFSW in a mk 5??
Doesn't it work with any of the OEM BT kits Scott??

Over the top mod list ;o)

the phone button wont work ???? wtf
ok the wheel looks better, way better, but whats the point if one of the most important buttons wont work.
im really surprised that there is no way to get this wheel to fully work tbh
do you know exactly what will and wont work,,, I want mk6 but I don't wanna wait until it is all done and fitted to find out that it doesn't really work

I have just fitted a mk6 gti mfsw to my mk5 has low line and a rns315
have changed the canbus to stop radio battery drain
phone button works so far as to answer a in coming call and end a call
need to change slip ring and control box unerneath as no steering wheel sensor
so esp and steering wheel light on

If your buttons work then your control box and slip ring should be ok.

Is your mk5 a gti?

Did you do the basic settings on the abs module in channels 60,63 and 66?
