^^^^ out of the 2, me too!

Scott, if you like the look of the clusters on SI-R32's friends car, PM him and see if he can let you know where they are from. Might just be the angle (and light) at which the photo is taken that makes them look black and they are also just the standard Valeo LED Clusters.

No, they are different lights that have black backgrounds. Was mentioned in another thread this week (there seems to be 2 or 3 rear light threads going on right now )

Hi Guys

FYI they are a standard set of OEM Valeo LED clusters, then a German company on ebay.de sprayed a hard wearing black coating around the cheery red area, they modified the standard LED lights into 5 different varieties, unfortunately they don't sell or modify them any more but i have given Scott the company name as they might still be able to do the odd set

there are 2 other slight mods going on in the pic i posted that make them look slightly different, the tail lights in the inner sections of the outer units have been codded out to give a polo (mint) effect this is in combination with the inner sections having a set of SMD LEDs added to them via an external company, this is to give the skyline look, the brake lights still light up as they should and have not been coded with VCDS in anyway.

wish there was a company out there who do the fog light swap over and sell the units in that way, rhd basically although I may buy them and try the swap myself

Sorry fella but after discussion in this thread I keep looking at your sig thinking you need to take the fog reflector out now and it will "even" it up on both sides. My 2 pence worth.

That's how I have mine and I think it definitely looks better with the symmetry :happy2:

I just have a red bulb in the offside light.

Thanks Ed :happy2:

Yes love them. And prefer them without the red fog lens.

guys can I please ask a silly question here
I see the pic both with clear lenses, do you have a pic of a car done the other way for comparison with a red lense, am I right in thinking the other way will produce one of the inner lights with a red round area instead of both being white ?
sorry but I got lost somewhere with all the bulb / lens swaps and trying to figure out how to do these
 :ashamed:

Have a look at my sig or the pic I posted earlier of my car, it's had the reflector swap done so the red lens is on the drivers side (for the uk). Normally they come with it on the other side (eu drivers side) or the clear ones as posted above is with no reflector and a red coloured bulb put in the drivers side

think I got it now, your signature pic has a small red reflector inside the inside light - is that right, then the other pic is with it all white,,, have I got it now ?
if this is right do I just need to buy a bulb or an inner clear lense as well
im getting there I think dude  :innocent:

Yeah that red bit is the reflector, you either move it from the left hand unit to the right hand one to make it on the drivers side so both lights have to be dismantled. The other option is to remove that reflector from the left hand lens and put a coloured bulb in the right hand lens so you only dismantle one of the 2 units.
