When i get into my car these evening after work, the windscreen inside is always steamed up pretty bad, i remember my last Golf was the same, but not with my other cars, noting wet in the car or anything,Is there anyway to prevent this?

Yes ........ AS I POSTED EARLIER, THE CURE IS TO REPLACE YOUR MICROFILTER/POLLEN FILTER AND CLEAN THE INSIDE OF YOUR GLASS WITH A GLASS CLEANER !!

Seems my car stopped doing it now :) I reckon it may have been as settings were on wrong :)
