Paddle Extensions !!! Yes or No? & Why do they cost so Much
« on: November 20, 2012, 09:03:47 pm »
Hey up guys,

Looking to pick up some Paddle Extensions Shifters. Now i have seen these "Oettinger's DSG paddle extension" and they look really nice, and totally replace the shifter rather than stick on.

Or even nice these ones:

But the price is very steep for a bit of plastic, even the stick on one can be dear. Does anyone use extensions? Which one are good? or which one to stay away from.

I have seen some cheap one on eBay for £40-£60, just dont really want to pay over £100 for some plastic, money could be spent else where  :jumpmove:

....Back in the day when I got my TID's, there weren't any cheaper options to choose from. No regrets though because I got a big discount and have had the joy of using them since early 2009  :P.

I think I need to revise that review to include what Mandy has to offer.

....Glad Mandy can help you  :happy2: I have now added this info to my review thread.

It seems that many of my reviews push folk further down the slippery slope of modding!
