Need help please
« on: June 23, 2009, 05:14:27 pm »
Hi,

My car has gone in for its new kit fitting this week and next week.

Mark, bloke looking after me there has said i'll need some coilovers to lower it more at the back... and obviously spacers... otherwise it won't look right

The spacers i'm dealing with at the moment...

But I need some help what advice and where to get a set of good priced coiler overs from... Eibach want £750 which i just cant afford at the moment  :sad1:

I've seen these on eBay

 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-COILOVER-VW-GOLF-MK5-ADJUSTABLE-SUSPENSION_W0QQitemZ350209609156QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item518a1e8dc4&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A6|72%3A1683|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A24

I really need it to be around the £300 mark ish

Anyone know of coilovers they can recomend ??

Any info/help is really helpful

Cheers

the ap coilovers get good write ups, and they are made in the same factory as kw coilovers are made, so may use similar parts!!!! i would go for ap's if it was me and i was on a budget

Thanks for the referral Luca!

PM sent back although I can't confirm if they will fit his car (they are coming off an Edition 30) so if anyone would be kind enough to advise.
