hi all, im jake been on here since i brought my mk5 gti 6 months ago but never really posted anything, so here goes.............  :fighting2:

as said had my car 6 months now

steal grey mk5 gti
full heated leather
arm rest with cd changer
mfsw
and all the other gti extras

so this was it the day i picked its up

the mods soon started days later when i did the front badge matt black, yellow fogs and de-wipered the rear

Looking very nice, i like the black headlights and the lamin x on the fogs  :happy2:

How hard/easy was it to de wiper the back? What did you do with the wiper motor and the washer jet hose? Looks amazing

i then brought a set of fk highsport coilovers and a set of mercedes wheels (not to everyones liking) but personally love them

many thanks mate. i followed a 'how to do' guide that i found on here. was a really easy job. removd the moto all together and bunged the end of the washer jet hose then cable tied it out the way

car is currently back on standard shocks and wheels for time being but will shortly be back on a set of different wheels (not decided yet) so idea would be much appreciated. also fitted a US spec indecator module tonight. pics to follow tomoro :D

Do you have any idea where you found that guide? Been looking in all the wrong places i think!  :confused:

Also where did you buy the bung from?

You changed all the shocks back to std? how come?

the bung was a 25mm blanking gromit from halfords :wink:

was thinking about selling up but have decided im gunna spend my money on the mk5 and get it how i want it  :grin:

those mercedes wheels will be up forsale soonish after a refurb

havent any other photos of the wheels at the minute as there currently being refurbed with the centres painted candy red and the lips polished, the tyres will not be included in the sale but they are up for sale seperatly

i think it was about £1.79 or there abouts from memory, i know it wasnt alot anyway haha  :P

with a bit of force it will push through yeah, i just used silicon sealant to seal it and hope no c*nt would push it through. its been there 6months now though and ive had no problem.

a friend of mine has got one from b&q that he says was from the bathroom section haha. its got like a plactic nut that screws onto the back side to hold it in. but i couldnt find it for the life of me !

I've found one on the bay but it said it was 50mm. But had a screw from the back :)
