Which is best for rear lights - OEM R32 or Tinted Hella?

Hey guys,

Got a Red GTI, standard lights on the back look pretty dog and looking to switch them out. But before i purchase a set, what do you guys recommend. The standard OEM R32 /Ed30 or the Hella ones which i can pick up on eBay for around£160?

Any input welcome....Thaks :pomppomp:

I've just got some Hella ones from ebay. Haven't put them on the car yet. It rains in Manchester all the time  :sad1:
I was looking at the LED one. They do look really nice. Take a look, there on a red golf.

like them led ones i must say but i went for oem r32 lamps instead...

bought them secondhand from a mate who may have bought them in germany as the reversre light was on the opposite side

^^^^ Are the ones you've bought the ones you linked to in Post 2? If so, completely different. Hella do make some ED30 rear light clusters.....

I think i prefer the R32 rather than the LED, the LED do look nice but the indicator looks very small and hard to see, dont fancy someone running into the back of me.  :surprised:
