Terra clean anyone used it yet?

Was talking to a mate tonight his mate got his Mercedes done with this in Glasgow and he said best thing out there he got a 100 extra miles to his tank now after cleaning his engine with this :)

Any golf users used this yet

It's not too deer and 3 places in Scotland use it and more yet to come

The only reason to use it on the Golf would be to clean the inlet valves which are bypassed completely on a direct injection engine.

Oh rite not sure but mk6 owners on there have been using it and comparing it to sea foam don't know what it is tho lol

Worth a look into as everyone is speaking bout it now saying extra mpg cleaner emissions etc etc worth 80 buck if u gain a 100 miles a tank :-)

Hi Christopher

First think i must say is i am an accountant (boo!) by profession not an
engineer. But i have asked this question of one of our own engineers in the
past. in response to an enquiry.

I have looked through some previous responses and the following i think best
answers your enquiry which related to a 2008 Audi S5 4.2 V8 FSI engine ;

Whilst we do not 'wet' the valves when we introduce the fuel initially we
are on this specified car recirculating our negatively charged fuel
particles through the EGR valve, turbo and inlet manifold and THEN past the
valves. We are not using a chemical that will break down during detonation
in the combustion chamber, we are using  negatively charged fuel particles
that do not alter their charged state during detonation so the cleaning
benefit will be superior to any chemical treatment alternative.

If you wish i am happy to put you in direct contact with one of our own
engineers Chris Simblet. As it happens today he is even further north than
your base. We are today training our TerraClean operator in the Shetland
Islands !

Few the owners on golf sites say that it won't make a difference but on the
Leon sites say it does and there the same engines don't know what or who to
believe as with direct it goes into combustion chamber and misses the head?

Any info u could send me bout this would be greatly appreciated

Yes the technology does work on Direct Injection engines. TerraClean
decarbonisation can work on all engines from a Motorcycle through to a
Agricultural/ Plant Equipment.

Have a chat with the operator whom i am sure will talk you though any
questions you may have.

The only thing that is going to get you an extra 100 miles a tank on a GTI is getting out and pushing it

So they think the exhaust gases that exit the turbo go back into the intake manifold?

Seems strange like but worth a shot to try it out lol once my service done going to book it in

I think in his message he ment the particles go thro inlet and everything in the engine and turbo and egr

Worth a try if people with Audi which is vag of course and direct injection engines  and Mercs are using this and seeing benefits and seat owners and most forums did a fair bit of research on most car maker forums and nothing but gd if not amazing responses :)

Plus this treatment does not only do injection it does the whole engine and everything that has carbon build up about it so prob worth a try and see if it really works
