Like it  :happy2:

I was playing round with the idea of getting an EVO6 Tommi Makinen a couple of weeks ago. Decided to stick with the gti in the end.

I think people who dont know anything about cars will think its chavy but people who do know will be able to tell thats a good one and appreciate it for what its capable of

There ok then pics , thought you said it was filthy, thought they'd been out ragging it

What are people's thoughts on black roof and bonnet scoop/ intake ? Got a feelin it'll look good.

And what about mapping ? It seemed plenty quick enough, can't imagine what it's be like with another 50-60hp

It was quite quiet with the original exhaust so thinking leave it like that.. Thinking leave it standard as it will be generally more reliable , and I want to do some track days. Just always so tempting to mod as I've remapped every car I've owned and its always such a big difference..

No love for the Barack roof then  :ashamed: haha

.
I can't think of a single Japanese car which I like the styling of but I appreciate what performance some of them offer. Nissan Pulsar GTI-R is the only one I would want. I have driven the Mitsu Evo X and it was an awesome drive but I hated the dashboard and interior.

if you start mapping these cars the bottom end is the weakest point

You can get them to carry so much speed through bends, that extra power really isn't a benefit - I'd leave it reliable and stealth.
Sideways yo!
