Decent body shops in Leeds area
« on: November 24, 2012, 12:58:32 pm »
I've had dealings with Huddersfield VW before, and they're good but expensive. Plus i've heard bad things about them recently, and I last used them in 2007. Any recommendations for good reasonably priced body shops in the Leeds area?

Avoid JCT600 like the plague. They damaged my sister's car and have a serious attitude problem. Wakefield Audi are good, they did a very good job on my brother's car. Although if it's not through insurance, I would find a good independent bodyshop.

Not much further than Leeds, but can highly recommend 'SilverStar' near skipton, used by White Rose VW for all there bodywork. Had a few bits done by them now and been very happy.

My mate had probably about 70% of the panels on his 12 year old TT resprayed and the paint match is perfect. They did a really great job on it.

any other info guys? i'd be keen to know why Phil is bucking the trend in recommending Impact. they seem to come recommended on other places too, as recently as October? i've heard some good things about NCR Bodycare? any experiences? any others worth a mention?

Story is too long to go into but they messed my car up, I called him no reply for 2 weeks & had to go round (Used to get on with him really well too) I admit up until 2 years ago they used to be mint but now they are shocking & after going to a few shows this year with the car I am one of many they have made of mess of peoples cars. The only place I know of that is good round here is near emley moor but I cant remember the name
