Getting Gear Box Remapped !!! - Help Please

Hey guys,

Getting my engine re-map done next month ( at PDT or RS Tuning), mine is a DSG GTI, mate was breifly talking about getting gearbox remapped.

Can anyone provide info on this and weather its worth doing and any good?

I did mate, couldnt really find owt on it....Getting a DSG gearbox remapped just seemed strange

Depends what type of power your car is going to be? Is it an ED30?

Anything over 300 then yeah so you don't hit an torque limiters. Nick @ R Tek is the only guy In the UK who does bespoke DSG maps I think, he can change everything, shift points, reaction times etc all done to how you want, think its only like £300 too!

If you do a custom engine map he might throw in the dsg map for free,give him a call mate
