How to Spray Side Skirt? - Bit of Help Please

Hey guys, im getting the standard GTI bumper sprayed tomorrow, half red / black valance combo.

Asked the guy about spraying the black side skirts, he wasnt sure if the are fully screwed on or just stuck on......can anyone confirm please....

Stuck along the top nearest to the door, screwed along the bottom and arches.

They are know to split sometimes when removed but they are cheap from the dealers to replace, it's the ed30/r32 skirts that cost te money £283 iirc

£283.....Holy sh*t. I dont have that kind of money for side skirt, so should he remove or spray on the car....

Ate they the black textured plastic ones? If so, they are the cheap ones, about £40 each iirc, if not and they are the smooth colour coded ones then yeah £283 each.

Yeah its the textured one, he double sprays it with plastic coat first (or something like that) then 2 coats paint and then 2 more laqer coats. Did some work on my old car (textured) comes out real smooth...

So, if he takes them off, are they easy to stick back on?

One word of advice. If they are stuck on with anything strong. Just watch your paintwork :) wouldn't want to cause damage!
