Evening guys, can I ask out of interest plse how long on average its taking for yr thermostat to hit 90? From cold over the past while, its taking as long as 20 min sometimes to reach this mark, does this sound about right?? Ive a 2005 GTi...

Yea that sounds fine, providing you have your climate set to 20+ degrees and your driving gently with no load on the engine. The heaters are taking all the engine heat  :happy2:

Ahh it has been set to 24, maybe even higher of late, with all 3 directions lit (ie. Everything bar Recirculation), so clearly affecting engine temperature! As for engine temp, think R Tech must have written it into my custom map, but its impossible for my car to generate any load/speed until thermostat is up to 90, lol!!
