Help regarding lambda
« on: November 27, 2012, 07:14:27 pm »
Hi all, I know I'm a newbie around here, but have been lurking in the shadows. I recently bought a mk5 gt tdi 170 which was accident damaged. I am in the final stages of the final fit up now.
I have come across an issue regarding the lambda sensor.

Basically the wires from the 1st lambda sensor going to the plug have been pulled out of the plug. It's a six pin plug, with the top two pins bridged across as standard.

Basically my problem is that I don't know which wire goes to which PIN number.

I'm unsure weather it's only the TDi 170 which has this sensor, or not? If anyone could shed some light or even a picture of the wired plug it would be brilliant.

I will be posting some pictures up and a newbie thread once it's back together.

Any help appreciated!
Cheers

I will have Bosch diagrams somewhere, can you post the part number and a photo looking into the plug itself (sensor end)

We usually have a 170ppd engined car lurking about somewhere for reference.

part number for the senaor is 03g906262b
I haven't got a Picture of the plug to hand, will get one in the morning, as far I can remember it has 4 pins similar looking and then 2 next to each other which are different to the rest.
Thanks again!
