My guess is the 30 is an older model.

I think 30 is 2011 and 50 is 2012

It's a TX46G15B. 3 years old I believe but the same panel as the newer ones and set up proper.  :wink:

The 42" GT50 is superb! Cheapest the panasonic shop could do was £975 + the 2 free 3d glasses deal.

What signal sources was it fed Rich?

If it were me I would like to see it with a variety e.g. HDMI DVD and Blu-Ray, RGB Scart, Freeview, SD channels over HDMI, etc.

TV feed and blu ray. The bluray casino royal (Which is good cos I've got that on BD) looked fantastic.

I don't use scart. The normal tv feed looked good, much better than the led.

Reply good blacks. Overal contrast was probably a tad high but that can be adjusted. Colours were good and the screen is not ultra reflective like a lot of plasmas

975 is a good price. Been looking at the 50" version which is around 1100.
