Just to chime in guys...i too have a 'B' unit which was on an 11xx firmware and could only read 2GB SD card and didn't like the 32GB SDHC i tried to feed it...

However, having upgraded to a modified FW3810a, i can now report that the 32GB SDHC is fully recognised and this FW version has enabled access to a number of other features.

Hope this helps regarding giving some clarity?!

FW 3810a for Europe...

3 partitions created, VIM enabled, 75/20/5 ratio's...Battery drain eliminated for older units.
