Brochures / Dealer literature for the Mk5 Gti
« on: November 27, 2012, 01:21:58 pm »
Does any know if there were any Gti specific brochures or dealer literature for the Mk5, I've always tried to get hold of this type of stuff for any cars I've owned that were of any type of interest such as various Ford Rs', Scooby and my Renault sport Clio). If so has anyone got any copies they'd be willing to part with or know how I can get hold of this type of stuff. I can remember my mate having the full mk5 golf brochure when he got his Gt which I'd like to get hold of but wondered if there were any other Gti specific stuff.

.
I have all my originals somewhere but they are worse for the wear of being kept under my pillow while I impatiently waited 12 weeks for her to arrive! Not for sale though, sorry.

My GTI Handbook is also leather with a nice enamelled motif:

I was also given a GTI baseball cap. I wear baseball caps all the time anyway and have at least 20.

I've got a normal Mk5 brochure and also the Mk5 GTI brochure from when it was released. Interestingly I've also got a German version of the GTI brochure which is different to the English one. Can't even remember where that came from  Might have actually picked it up in Germany.
Sorry none for sale though.
