My girlfriend just found out...

...that I've spent over 15 days on this forum since I joined in March April this year.

That's more than a two-week holiday in Corfu.


Is there any way to convince her that this is a good thing? Or should I 'grow up' and start reading Proust instead...?

Yes and yes. I thought so. She's just using this to try to make you feel guilty (a very common female ploy towards male partners) and to prompt you into suggesting a two-week holiday in Corfu or some other sun spot and also into you thinking it was your idea.

Writing this makes me feel like those two blokes in the Fosters TV commercials who answer the phone to guys needing advice about their womenfolk!

I solved this problem by buying my good lady her own iPad, she now spends 15 days a week on the shopping sites!
