Does your iphone back up to the cloud? If so, turn that function off and back up your phone over wifi to your home computer.

.
Remove/delete some of the stuff you have on iCloud in order to make space?

Or pay Apple for more iCloud storage  :sad1:

Sounds like you need to either delete some apps/music/photos etc to get some storage space back. Either that or it's your iCloud back up that's now pushed you over the limit and you need to delete some back ups (assuming you back up to iCloud)

You can check this under settings the iCloud then right at the bottom there is the storage option.

You can see how much space your apps and music etc is taking up under settings, general, about (from memory).

I presume we are talking iphone apps?

Goto

Settings>>> iCloud >>> Storage and Backup >>> iCloud backup should be turned off.

I wouldn't advocate turning iCloud backups off - it just sounds like it needs to be managed more effectively. How many devices backup to iCloud? Do you have old devices that are still backed up to your iCloud?

I have a 25Gb iCloud account but only use around 4Gb, and that's backing up 2 Macs and 3 iOS devices.

Rich, just checked and it is turned off..

Just turned it on and its now backing up. I think that it just actually needs to back up to iCloud!

Andrew, ther is only my Iphone on my Icloud account and theres not that much on it either..

If you go to Settings then choose iCloud, scroll to the bottom then press Storage & Backup.

You then need to press Manage Storage. This will list your backups, and their total size. If you only have one iPhone listed, choose that and it will give you a list of all the apps that are backed up to iCloud. If you use the camera it's likely that a large percentage of your total backup will be taken up by the camera roll. You have the option of choosing which apps are backed up - so you could choose not to backup free apps.
