am considering changing my stock gti clocks which are red dials and that lovely blue background to some r32 ones which is blue dials and white background.
was wondering what ones people think looks best.
I like the blue back to the gti ones and not sure if I will miss that with the r32 ones
considering the change due to only having midline on my gti ones whereas the r32 will have highline.
would appreciate peoples comments
have been looking for some videos of the r32 display but I cant seem to find any that can answer my query, not much on u-tube
thanks guys

ahh I see, so its a tdi with r32 clocks then
phew,,,, I can get between 300 and 335 miles from full to petrol light on on my last 4 tanks of gas averaging 29.9mpg and that is driving quite carefully with only the occasional heavy foot, gto 08 plate.
anyway with regards to the thread subject I am looking for peoples opinions as to the better looking clocks as I don't know if I should buy the r32 ones

Not being funny you are the one that will be looking at them, which ones do you prefer

I happen to like both, the R32 is more like a modern VW car as they are all white now.
The Blue and red was nice, and I remember when it first came out in the Mk4 Golf. (any excuse to drive the car at night)

As your model is a GTi then if you want to keep it original then Blue and red

I agree eddie I also remember when I met my wife around 2003 she just bought a brand new basic golf 1.6 and I was driving a bucket, I loved driving her car at night and used to get good comments on how cool the dash colours where from passengers.
as for your other point about it being my preference - I don't know hence the thread - I have never seen a r32 interior dash in the flesh, someone like yourself would find the question easy to answer as you have stripped  / modified a lot of golf's but I haven't had that pleasure.
worth me asking the question though rather than spending £250 for the clocks only to take them back out again

Go and take a drive at night in a new vw, then you can see.

I have white dials in my skoda now, I have to say I did prefer the blue if I had to pick one over the other

I think if the R32 clocks had a highline like on newer car they would look nicer
