Just milk the undoubted guilt that she will be feeling!!

Problem is, we have a joint account, so i'll be sort of footing the bill anyway! (as i contribute more to it!)  Double school boy error 1) Joint account 2) letting her use my car

It normally takes something like this to make you realise that at the end of the day, your car is only a big lump of metal and plastic.  In the grand scheme of things, it's not really worth worrying about.  No-one was hurt - that's the main thing.

Hope you get it sorted out without any headaches and for not too many £s!

I know im OCD about my car and I really wish I wasn't bothered about cars and them being perfect. I just cant help it! At the time it felt like the biggest disaster in the world. But its only metal.

But after reading peoples comments and speaking to the bodyshop I'm quite happy now that it'll get repaired to a standard that you would never even tell.

Deep breaths and keep reminding myself, it's only a car, no one was hurt or killed

Been there got the t-shirt as well lol! My Missus borrowed mine to go do the shopping at tesco and somehow managed to drive into the stand thing that holds the trolleys.
Fortunately wasn't to bad. She was the same very apologetic and thought I'd go ballistic. I didn't but she had to make it up to me!
Funny thing was I had to drive her back to tesco as she hadn't done the shopping.
