so for c.£57.00 (and some know-how) this would work fine on my GTi??

Yes, although it doesn't work so well in winter when cold.

If your local dealer is struggling to get you all parts, then there's a Skoda dealer on ebay I used to get all the bits.

Any links to the dealer?

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/The-Skoda-Parts-Shop?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

They got me the parts last year, used them last week for other stuff including two new Scirocco bumps. You'll have to give them the part numbers and quantities as they will order them in (think they have the struts as a listing).

Handy if your local dealers can't help.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Boom thank you!  :happy2: I Have send the shop an email

The parts manager is Jonathan DOT Gadsby AT rainworthskoda DOT co DOT uk - it might help you get there quicker.

I also use David@SERE motors in NI but sometimes he can't get stuff. Both have been excellent in the past.

Cheers for the excellent info and help; I've contacted them too, so hopefully they'll put some on ebay soon.

They've never listed anything on ebay I've asked for to order in, just sent Paypal payment (as goods thus you're protected if that's a concern). This includes last week when I sent £188 and it all came three days later.
