Scanning with Vcds

Just a quick question. Can you scan the car with Vcds with the engine running?

Probably wouldn't ideally.

You can go into each controller with the engine running but probably best practice to just do it with the ignition on.

I have done, vag com doesn't like scanning the ABS controller while driving
