Performance give better handling than coils and also allows you to keep the anti roll bar and have top camber mounts

To be honest, I went coils over bags as I simply don't trust air to break when I'm boosting and doing stupid things in corners. I would take air over coils anyday and would get it done tomorrow, but I simply don't trust it. I'm trying to to organise an outing in a charged Rs4 with "performance" are, by someone who doesn't do slow, so we'll see.
If you go on youtube accurair have two s4's one with bags and one with coils and the one with bags beats it.

It's personal choice at the end of the day, but the air suspension can take just as much as coilovers if not
More . They wouldn't make it otherwise :)

I chose to do a bag over coil setup on my corsa as there aren't any struts that are designed for it and that wasn't great handling. Compared to me coilovers, it was worse. But with the performance ones, they are engineered to perform well and do so.

I'd definitely take these performance struts over coils, but it is personal preference.

I seen them, but want real life. Hope this Audi might help. If it proves me wrong. I'm having it!

Hmm. Have you slammed it into corners etc?

The slam struts handle very well too.. unless you are literally at 85% or more you don't notice the lack of a front roll bar.. the chassis is stiff enough to manage unless a mk4 which turns into jelly
At least from airlift on the mk5 performance vs slam is little difference.

Thanks man! Yeah its the more expensive option but its one single milled piece of aluminium. Tidies the bay up nicely too.

De Wiper!

Yeah de-wiper is already on the cards, just might as well wait out this rain a little bit before doing it. not that i use it that much anyway, most of the water runs off providing you keep it topped up with rain x or something similar.

OEM Xenons are most likely the next thing to land, after a votex front splitter too, need my side skirts coding, got my rev g DV and cam follower sat in my room for when i get enough time to change them over. Then wheels and paint need some love before UD comes round

Couple more pics of bits

Thanks N8!

LIttle update today. Not so interesting. Changed my cam follower. Pretty easy and quick job if you're thinking about doing it.

Not too much wear on mine. But brand new one in none the less.

and also a short video showing the idle or the BCS TBE in comparison to the Milltek i posted a few pages back

The BCS exhaust sounds much better than the Miltek on the previous page (in my opinion anyway)
