OEM Xenon pins
« on: December 01, 2012, 09:44:16 am »
Just bought some xenons and i was looking at the pins where the adapter would go. There are only 11 of the 12 pins there, one is missing on both of them. Should they be like this?

Should help.

The extra wire on the Xenon 10-12 pin adaptor looms are the feed for the Xenon shutters.  If you want xenon main beams, you will need to run a wire to the Cent Conv Module , and join it to these on each light.
 :happy2:

The wire is pin 11 in the pic below.

The missing (or extra) pin is not on the adapters but on the lights themselves.

There is no pin on the top left hand corner; are they supposed to be like that?

p.s that link does not work.

Looking at the diagram posted previously, I would say that is correct. There are only 11 connections, hence why you would think there would only be 11 pins. Mine were factory fitted so have never checked the wiring or pins.
