After four years of ownership parked on the street in central London with no incident some **** smashed the rear quarter window (five door) on my 05 Gti last night. Nothing stolen, not even sure they got inside (am I correct in thinking the cars have deadlocks?). The only thing on display was a 4 year olds reading book leading me to believe the perpetrator was either 4 or a teenager with the mental age of 4!
As it’s 05 it has blue glass and consequently not so easy to find, more irritation.
My question is that the trim between the small window and the large one is damaged (Looks like it was levered) is this piece easy to replace?
