Mk5 to mk6 cruise control

Anyone know if a mk5 cruise kit will work on a mk6? I have the 1k0 054 690A kit and the kit listed for the mk6 has the same part no. But ending in B.

depends on the stalk version. G version will but only up to mid 2010

2010 onwards requires a different stalk
