I'll look out for your FIL's yellow cupra then. I'm there Wed and Thurs for suspension and WMI :happy2:

Hes not there while next saturday mate. Im gutted in a way i cant believe hes having it done before me,
It might be a good thing tho as it might speed my progress up haha!
I hate going to garys (gazon69) i love his golf and power is awsome, we went up there earlier after statllers, the FIL was well impressed with garys golf!

Gaz's car is very fast, a lot of power going through that block.  :happy2:
Golf R gone.

Cheers for the comments!
Its an awsome car hurdy, every time i go in it i just cant stop laughing for some reason lol!
I would'nt mind an outing in steves porsche, now that thing is unreal, i might have to be cheeky and blag a ride haha. It was awsome at inters last year!

Anyway, whats peoples thoughts on tinted headlights/ taillights.
Im in two minds to whether its too chavvy or whether my car will pull it off on the headlights and look mean!
Ive just won a little comp and the prize is to have my lights tinted using the spi vision film stuff, suppose itell always come off if i dont like it and its for free

Sammy You having that Power kit I've got or you still being Gay?
Nearly as quick as Rys for a quarter of the cost !

You're like a crack dealer! It starts with - "go on, get a stage 1 remap - all the cool kids are doing it"...

Seriously though Sam, you'll love a tuned Cupra. What hardware and map are you going for?  :driver:

With regards to the tinted lights, I wouldn't do it - white K1 & Cupra's look perfect with just black wheels and perhaps some black badges.

Golf .:R DSG - GIAC Stage 2

Vinyl mike! Took me no longer than an hour to do both including removal and fitting and the best thing about it is it cost me a fiver! Got enough to do another set aswel with loads of white left over.
I try to avoid using paint as i find vinyl better in allot of ways although the finish will never be the same it still looks top

Looks lovely Sam - can definately recommend the upgrades. Friend has one but with a black roof and got it to REVO stage 2 and wow!! Sounds nice during normal driving but opening it up, again, just perfection. Parked next to my golf they look like a proper couple haha!

Always been a passenger lol

Bummer about the plate, I thought it was a quick and easy trip to the local office and then just a case of waiting for the new logbook to come through!

Yeh is is but they don't seem to be processing it nice and quickly. They say it can take 8 weeks but normally its done a lot quicker. I know a lot of people go to the dvla, do the paperwork and stick the reg on, but I'm doing by the book! It'll come eventually.

Inters - yes!!
