Fly eye or laminX? Bit too dark or me, sorry.  The laminX light smoke is as dark as I'd go

Cool

I originally bought some Seat accessory headlight protectors to paint gloss black for shows but didn't like the way they fitted.
It would have worn the paint fitting/removing

I've gotta agree with Mike I'm afraid Sam, but it's your motor mate and there's only one opinion that counts!  :happy2:

Bet you can't wait for tomorrow. Just be prepared for the change in traction on the greasy roads. Don't wanna get caught out   :driver:

I might pop down tomorrow at lunch time if I'm not too busy with work. What time are you picking it up?

It is just one of those marmite mods isnt it!

Im not too sure yet, dropping it off at 10 and then steve's gonna give me a bell when its ready for dyno, i only work 2 minutes away so its better for me i can leave it and nip back any time.

And i know the roads are terrible at the minute, i was hoping they would stay as they are as it aint been too bad past couple of days but i guess not with the down pour we just had!

So come on then Sam, how did you get on & what do you think to the map & and the noise from the EvoMS?

Saw the car on Statller's website - so looks like everything went according to plan?  :happy2:

Haha.... Well... What can i say! I love the noise (alot noisier than our lasses dad's itg) and the map OMG! Its so aggresive! Its unreal, the car just picks up so well and goes lime a rocket, i can honestly say compared to the FIL's revo i would choose the giac all day long, its so driveable and smooth and then as soon as you want to unleash the monster inside my god does it! Steve definatley has worked his magic on this one  :happy2: :driver:

A few pics of my new intake and one in statllers, love the feel of the car as it is now but I already want more power :-)
Also need to get some handling mods as I'm supposed to be visiting the ring next spring, could do with a ttrs engine cover aswel or modding mine as the tfsi engine is damn ugly

Evoms do a pretty cool engine cover if you fancy something different - it's very plain so easy to customise. The TTS cover is nice when coloured coded to the car. Looks great in white & black.

Evoms also do a heat shield which sits at the back of the engine - purposeful and looks great:

Forgot to add aswel, I know someone who owns a custom exhaust company 'Top Gear Performance' based in scawsby Doncaster,
He's custom built me and my father-in-law both a de-cat 3" downpipe, the quality is awesome and the price is even better, we were originally looking at the "EBay specials" and the milltek ones seem a tad expensive so after a quick chat with Brett he sorted us both out with a mega deal!

Here's the finished product
