I think Short Circuit is the first film that I remember watching as a kid... (probably 4-5 years after its release)  :happy2:

Herbie Goes Bananas was my first at the Cinema.

I can remember the Herbie films at the cinema in the days when there were 2 films and the woman used to come round selling ice creams and strange orangey drinks.

I remember seeing Star Wars in Birmingham.  :ashamed:

I remember the interval too.

We saw Return of the Jedi on a sunny Saturday afternoon, my brother's eyes struggled to adapt on the way out and he knocked himself out walking into a lamp post.

I also remember seeing Ghostbusters and throwing up, having scoffed too many sweets. I promise you this is true..... it was green!!
Sideways yo!

Used to get the pre movie movie back in the day before it cost £15 for an IMAX ticket and a £8 hotdog and coke! I remember those Orangey drinks in plastic pot things and tubs of ice cream with disc lids that made perfect frisbees for throwing around the smoke filled cinema.

Great List of movies. How about TV Series in the 80's. best decade for car related series as well.

Miami Vice
Night Rider
A Team
Airwolf
MacGyver
Buck Rogers (the bird was fit as f...)
The Incredible Hulk
Magnum PI
The Equalizer
Different Steokes
Moonlighting
