As above, that's the guy! If you message them saying Chrisr763 asked for the correct part numbers then you might get lucky :)

It came to around £65 with them. Other company's do the struts cheaper then chuck on massive postage

Just called VW and they said the DV for my car (not ed 30 - 06 plate DSG) is Revision G (06F145710G)  DV: Part: £38.84 & the labour is £105.60  - Is it hard to fit yourself or??

It's not hard, just a bit fiddly. You'll need to get the car on axle stands or ramps and work from underneath. Worth it to save £105.60 - that's crazy!

I'f you have basic mechanical knowledge it's not too bad.. It's getting to it that's the hardest part. Luckily a friend of mine who's a mechanic checked mine for free, he got it on the ramp though, took him about 15mins but was still a bit faffy on the ramp.

£105 Is ridiculous. If you're not confident on doing it yourself, I'm sure a specialist garage would do it for a hell of a lot cheaper than that  :happy2:

is there a one stop shop for the parts on the boot pop anywhere

The Skoda eBay page can sort you out. Someone will know the link or I will try and get you it tomorrow

I just tried them for parts but they will not post to me because I am classed as being in the Scottish highlands  :stupid:

I usually use my folks in Dunfermline when this is an issue mate. Had this a lot more recently! Absolute joke.

I normally just get stuff sent to my work in Dyce if i have issues but as I'm getting my exhaust sent there I don't want to get another box arriving as the store man gets moody when I get too much stuff sent and he won't be happy after the exhaust arrives

Seems to have upped the price slightly to £68, probably cause he's is getting more requests.
