Remap or clutch
«
on:

Looking at getting a remap stage 1, but my clutch will need replacing soon i think as i have the ticking noise that goes when clutch is depressed, biting point is high at its the original one with 99k on it. Do I get the remap first or sort clutch bits out first? Does a remap effect the clutch etc??

Is it slipping?
If not, get the map; I've had map on original clutch since 75k, on 105k miles now and still on the same clutch... why pay out for it until it's absolutely necessary... put the money in an ISA until it needs doing, lol.

I should say I think the DMF needs replacing due to the ticking noise, however, will need to clarify as it could just be the clutch... Apparently
