Trouble fitting rear Xenon level sensor...
« on: November 02, 2012, 06:18:44 pm »
Hey guys.

So today i decided to start on my auto levelling retrofit.

After jacking the car up and finding where the sensor goes, im a little baffled as the holes in the sensor don't line up with the holes on the car.

Looking in from the nearside...

The ones line up with the 3 holes...

Top one goes here?...

Hole spacing is out.......

Or am i being a dumbarse??  :fighting:

Cheers!

Thanks for that.

Looks like the rear one shown there has a different bracket to mine! I'll go grab a pic.

Cheers.

I'm not sure what it came from, but I bought it all from a member on here.

The part number is 1k0 941 273 F

That's stamped on the bracket itself, which if I google it, returns pictures which look like the correct one!  :stupid:

Cheers

Same problem I had, that's an r32 bracket and you need the one for a normal front wheel drive car...I ended up getting mine from eBay.de...

I've only just managed to get hold of a second hand one!

Went round my local scrap yards, and messaged everyone on eBay breaking mk5 golfs.... nothing.

Was refusing to pay the £114 the dealers wanted. Have finally found one, and it's coming from the US!!
