Clutch DMF options

Been told that as I have the clicking sound when clutch pedal not pressed the DMF is on its way out which won't be part of a new clutch which also needs replacing. First, do I need to replace clucth and DMF as different parts? If yes, what are options of replacing with normal cheaper flywheel? Sorry not mechanically minded  :confused:

Is your clutch worn out? Does it slip? If not then it doesn't need replacing. Although it will have to be removed to replace the flywheel so (for about £150) you could replace it.

eurocarparts.co.uk sell OEM LUK flywheels for around the £300 mark.  :happy2:

Clutch ain't slipping just biting high so as you say might as well replace when doing DMF I suppose.

Definately.

Get it all done at once... LUK DMF's are about cheaper i think, can't remember what i paid for mine as it was through APS Brackley who are Sachs Authorised dealers, and fit the 400ftlbs Sachs uprated clutch.
