What is needed to fit a GTI or Jetta bumper to a Golf TDI.
« on: December 09, 2012, 06:22:37 pm »
I know a few people have done this and I am wandering what is needed to fit one to a Diesel with the standard front bumper. Is it a case of just a straight swap or do I need to change other parts? Is there a guide anywhere for doing this?
How hard can it be?

As far as I know it's a straight swap

The enforcer is a different shape so either that will need to be changed or a small bit of bumper will need to be removed so that it fits over the original one on your car
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding

So does the towing eye screw hole and everything else fit right?

Also will I need to get new foglights to the ones that fit in my current bumper or will these swap over?
