Part numbers correct?
« on: December 10, 2012, 02:06:00 pm »
Just about to throw an order at my local stealers:

Latest revision DV: 06H 145 710 D
Charcoal canister: 1KO 201 797 AE
Cam follower: 06D 109 309 C

Are these the right numbers for an 07 Ed30?

Also, is there a latest revision PCV setup from VW?

Cheers
Steve

not sure on the part numbers, but i do know that not all engines accept the latest version of the PCV and you sometimes have to go for a slightly older version

Yes, seem spot on...

Cam Follower  - 06D 109 309 C

Revision D Divertor Valve    -  06H 145 710 D

Charcoal Canister  -   1K0 201 797 AE

And the PCV latest Revsion is the N. s the one to have on an Edition 30. Mine Eddy and many others are better with this one.

PCV   -   06F 129 101 N

and you may need a new orange rubber seal for the PCV as well.

Seal   -  06F 103 483 E

The dealer will tell you the G revision is the correct dv for your engine. Plenty of topics on D vs G on here. Ive had both and found the G to feel better with power delivery.

^^^^ I'm fast asleep, blindly answering the post for a Revision D part number even when i have changed my own DV from D to G on my ED30. doh  :stupid:

@EXODUS_STE.  ignore the D revision part number and go with the above G revision recommendation.

I'd suggest going with the "P" revision PCV, no need to change the rear breather valve then  :happy2:

Just called them again... The 06H 145 710 G isnt recognised by the dealer

Now i am very confused! Don't know why but i seem to recall reading somewhere about not being able to get a certain revision?

That is the correct part number for the DV and its available as far as I know for around £35 from any VAG dealer or TPS (try another dealer) Not sure about the rear breather on the PCV as the garage changed mine, hopefully someone who knows for sure will help you out.

The correct pcv valve is the N revision for the Ed 30s as they werent fitted with a rear check valve like the later TFSi's
