Help - Headlight washer stuck out
« on: December 13, 2012, 12:43:41 pm »
Just went out in my car and it's blooming freezing, anyway had done the windscreen wash and everything fine etc until just got home and realised that one of the stalks for the front headlight washer is stuck out about 4 inches.

Anyone any idea how to sort this out? Is it stuck out due to the cold? I had poured a tiny bit of warm water on them and tried washing again and 1 of them is fine but the other is still 3 inches or so out

When mine done it on the way to JKM I basically let them thaw out then they went back in. This year I've pulled the fuse on them as I also nearly lost a cap last year aswell

Tried some hotter water and bit of a wiggle no luck.

I can only suggest hairdryer on it for around 5 minuets. This should do the trick  :drinking:

Good news, it's back in!

I simply left it and it had nearly gone , went for drive, did the windscreen and got home and was done. :)

Its in the fuse box in the drivers side dash and iirc it's the 5th row down and the 4th from the left, yellow 20A
