OK guys, not sure how many of you have the heads up on this - have just checked JKM's website and they are now an offical APR dealer, done a quick search and I don't think it has been reported on here yet.

As far as I am aware they're still Revo dealers - all the Revo stuff is still on the website http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/shop.htm they have just changed the banner.

Hi guys,

Just a really quick update to let you all know that we are continuing to sell REVO alongside APR and Superchips.
We have been impressed with the quality of APR Hardware products, and saw no reason to not offer their software upgrades alongside the others that we currently provide.

This situation provides more choice for you guys really, though we are offering Free Power runs with full APR software whilst we initially gather performance data. If anyone has any questions please let us know.

All the best.

Personally id have revo map over APR all day long.

Why?

You obviously don't know the story on the formation of Revo when the software writers for Revo were in fact working with APR when they jumped ship on the birth of Revo.
A major lawsuit ensued by APR which I won't go into detail however their software is very similar the main differences are that APR can use cruise to facilitate programme changes.
APR's R and D is synomunous throughout the tuning world.

I for one have had alot of dealings with APR....my MKIV prior to Stage 3+ was the first to be mapped on APR stage 2. I was at Awesome until midnight with 8 different overlay maps , done on the wire with their engine mapper in Auburn until they perfected the result. He incidently was a F1 engine mapper for Honda. They know their stuff !

Did that lawsuit ever go anywhere, or was it all just talk?

What results where?....Perhaps you'd like to post them ....they're not on Awesome's RR page....as for sprinting it's the skill of power deployment not I've got 5-10 bhp more than you!

Just have a little search around and all will become clear, Revo wins.. And sprinting is a pretty good measure of a cars outright pace.. Seen as how its just a straight line and all you have to do is launch and change gear..

Measuring a cars power / torque with an on track comparison is pretty pointless as there as SO many variables.. Saying that, I would challenge anyone (big turbo or not) to get any where near mine round a track

you seem abit upset that id choose revo over APR!  im not searching around for results for your benefit but if you look around the forum then im sure you could find ALOT of results yourself which pritty much speak for themself.

also what's awesome's RR page got to do with anything?

This old APR vs blah blah blah propaganda argument has been circling since day dot... this thread smacks of the old gag of X-tuner's staff logging in on blag accounts and causing trouble, such is the level of defense of something as daft as this.
