Fitting the latest polar FIS

The amount of fault codes it caused was unreal,

Don't have one fitted and I have still lost the audio menu on my highline.

I might as well of paid kwick fit £220 to break my car

A bloody phone holder mounted in the centre of the dash by the previous owner. Want to get rid but be left with a big hole :stupid:. Why do people do it

It would appear that the various types of intake people have had fitted are going to be the most popular worst mod ever....*crosses of wishlist*

Buying Carbon fibre wraps over various bits of the car and on some interior trims too..

Recolouring my Old Pescara's Boron instead of Antracite..

What's wrong with the wraps?

The carbon wraps were installed , 2 attempts by chameleon vehicle wrap specialists, and both times the wrap would shrink back to its ORIGONAL state and show the colour underneath the mirror housings. The stuff is fine on flat, no stretchable surfaces, but when you have to add heat to stretch into shape, forget it. Takes a few weeks but ends up exactly the same, and yes the wraps were heated to the point of tearing , so saying the wrap wasn't heated up enough, isn't the reason.Myself and another forumite both had the same issues. So we decided to bin the idea.

Because of the noise?

For me yes and for my lady wife YES!! Working my way through the list of intakes. Might try the new APR/VWR one next.

Go get the VWR one, it sounds great, doesn't look like a blind two yr old designed it and certainly doesn't have any warning lights flashing up!  :happy2:

I didn't know Chameleon did yours Steve, I thought it was the franchise lot that also had a place in Leeds that went belly up?

Your interior trim should have been okay though? :)

Another one for fitting an intake.  Part load noise just where you don't want it.  Did my head in.
