Leather repair/removal?
« on: December 15, 2012, 05:22:15 pm »
Damaged my drivers side arm rest think it must have been a stud on one of my jackets. Any clues on how to remove the leather or repair it would be much appreciated?

Cheers, Stevie.  :drinking:

Its worth trying one of the kits on ebay (about £25)  :happy2:

There are a few videos on youtube showing the process…..and some funny ones.

I emailed a company months ago about my drivers seat. I have a hole in the Love-handle-support-bolster  and the lower bolster near my right thigh has lost its shape and flattened.

Co incidentally they got back to me the other day saying

"Carlo I can fix the hole and colour it and bump up your base seat.
Cost would be £120 if you bring it here Broughton DN20 but it would be in the new year now,
Thanks
Jackie."

Im gonna get it done when I get back from Italy in the New Year.  :happy2:

Is my leather classed as grey?? Are you puting your car in and leaving it with them to fix? I will have a scout about on the tube see what i can find.

Thanks for the reply.

I am in ayrshire, just outside Glasgow. Some of the YouTube vids look quite convincing.

Cheers, Stevie.
