I need an R in my life. (not just to store at AKS before any one says it )

Tiptronic S3 for me.

Noooooo!

Nice car, but I'd take an R over one any day.

Wish I went PSS10 over KwV3 even if only for the easier adjustability

If you'd have listened to me when I had the Ed30 you'd have already got them. The KW's are okay, but not in the same league as a mono tube designed suspension system.

I splashed out on the V3s very early on. Rushed into it I think.

Did you have bilsteins on at that snowy elsecar meet 4/5 years ago?

Thought you'd already tried them John having Not being sure on APRs choice of coilover

No, but I remember someone telling me they weren't exactly comfortable. For me the Bilsteins are perfect and perfectly adjustable too

Iirc the bilsteins have quite soft springs, good for everyday comfort, but might bottom up on hard track use. The AST's are a more track orientated option.

I'm trying to decide between AST's and bilsteins myself. Comfort  vs ultimate handling. I think the bilsteins will be more than adequate for my usage and provide a big step up handling wise at the same time. Don't really do that much track work.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how good the Bilsteins were on track. They were fooking awesome on the Nurburgring and at Spa. :happy2:

Re: suspension, you don't want stiff springs unless you're running slicks - some compliance is a good thing, particularly at places like Cadwell/Oulton/Spa/Ring.

AST kit is mega, as is Bilstein. I'd also have a good look at Nitron's custom work. If you're serious about having a kit made up specific to your car and needs by an industry expert, I know a guy.

Oh, and feck me that's quick. I'm looking forward to the R-off at Inters.
