On the pressed plates its just a matter of sticking them as normal and then taping the suckers onto the back with some duck tape. Go all round the suckers.….Big Al sent me a pic of his pressed plates with the suckers taped.

I didnt need to as I used smooth Plastic plates
^^^^ Ive had both suction cups and/or magnets on mine for years and both as good as each other. I prefer the cups, slightly less dirt and grit etc etc gets trapped but BOTH will cause some minor scratching, nothing that can't be polished out though.
