RNS510 Satellites

Hi All,

Just had my RNS510 installed and was wondering how many satellites it should be showing? I'm getting 5 out of 11 max and sometimes as low as 3! The GPS receiver is currently installed in the scuttle panel in the engine bay... Any idea's?

Ive always mounted my GPS antenna on top of the rns unit, just below the vents. Its magnetic so it just stays there and never moves.

I get around 8-10

As above, anything less than 6 and the satnav plays up.
